If you want to dine at Travigne during your trip to Napa Valley, the address is 1016 Main Street, St. Helena, California.

Drinks

A non-alcoholic drink with stirringd blood orange bitters, agave, blood orange juice, lime juice, with a tajin rim and a lime wedge.
Blood Orange NOgarita – No Buzz drink
A non-alcoholic drink with guava, lemon, simple syrup, and elder tonic topped with flower peddles.
Guava Kiss – No Buzz drink

Blood Orange NOgarita

This drink was spicy! The tajin they put on the rim made the drink spicy. The drink itself was good; a little sweet. The NOgarita part was interesting because you can taste what tastes like alcohol but its But it is zero proof alcohol.

Guava Kiss

This drink was refreshing

Appetizers

Mozzarella

Fresh mozzarella cheese with cracked pepper and olive oil on a bed of four slices of toasted baguette and topped with fresh thyme.
Mozzarella “Al Minuto”

Here it is. THE food we came to eat. And it is so delicious. The mozzarella is warm and soft. But you MUST eat this fast becuase of the mozzarella. If you wait to long, the cheese will cool and solidify and it won’t taste the same.

When the mozzarella came to the table hot and the server placed it top of the grilled bread. Then added fresh ground pepper, drizzled olive oil, and added a thyme on top. The taste of the mozzarella was divine. The creaminess of the cheese, the crunch of the bread, and the flavors of the pepper and olive oil combined to create an incredibly delicious experience. It left us wanting more.

Truffle Fries

French fries with white truffle oil topped with parsley with a side of malt vinegar aioli.
Crispy Truffle Fries

The truffle fries came in the nice cone. They came hot.The truffle fries were good. Some of the fries were crunchy and some where soft. I am not a fan of truffle. I think it makes the fries taste very salty. I did enjoy the aioli. The aioli masked some of the truffle flavor which I liked. If you enjoy truffle, you will love these fries.

Main Dishes

Pizza

a pizza with chorizo, mozzarella, smoky ancho-pasilla chile sauce, jalapeños, red onions, and cilantro topped with queso fresco, avocado, cream fraiche.
La Bamba Pizza – Small. Chorizo, mozzarella, smoky ancho-pasilla chile sauce, jalapeños, red onions, and cilantro topped with queso fresco, avocado, and cream fraiche.

The La Bamba pizza was recommended to us by our waiter. This pizza was interesting. The ancho-pasilla chile sauce gave the pizza a taste I was not accustomed to. The jalapenos provided a nice heat while the queso, avocado, and cream fraiche gave the pizza a creamy taste. However, when you eat the pizza you get the cream fraiche, avocado, and queso first then the heat of the jalapeno. So, the cool down from the jalapenos comes from a drink. The cilantro though was not good. I do not like cilantro. It ruins dishes for me. All I can taste is the cilantro and its disgusting. So for me the pizza is not my cup of tea, but when I took off the cilantro the pizza tasted so much better. Overall, the pizza was okay.

Rigatoni Bolognese

Rigatoni Bolognese. Rigatoni pasta with a pork and beef ragu, topped with pecorino cheese and parsley
Rigatoni Bolognese

The Rigatoni Bolognese tasted so good. The sauce had a wonderful flavor. The rigatoni noodles the restaurant used was the best for holding the sauce. Each bite had the perfect amount of sauce and cheese. I recommend you to order the Rigatoni Bolognese.
