Pastini Restaurant – Eugene Food Review

07.06.25 | Jess

In a plaza in Eugene, Oregon sits a restaurant with a menu full of pasta. Before this visit I hadn’t even heard of Pastini. I’m grateful that I do now.

Appetizers

Baked Italian Meatballs

three meatballs with marinara sauce topped with cheese.

The meatballs were very tasty. They had a wonderful Italian flavor. The marinara sauce was wonderful and a little sweet. The meatball with the sauce as so good. It left me wanting more.

Artichoke-Spinach Spread with Bruschetta

The artichoke-spinach dip as good, a little cheesy but it was good. The bread was a hard to bite but the artichoke-spinach tip saved it.

Parmesan Bread

Six triangular shaped Parmesan Bread. In the middle is a small ramekin with marinara sauce.

The parmesan bread was much better than the other bread. It compelmented the marinara sauce. The marinara sauce was not as hot (temperature wise) as the meatballs, so it wasn’t as good but the flavor was the same.

Entrees

Chicken Alfredo

The chicken alfredo was delicous. Most of the sauce as at the bottom so mixing it was very important. After mixing, the alfredo pasta was so good. I think it could use more nutmeg but that’s me. All of the pasta dishes came with a side of two pieces of bread. The bread was hard to me so it didn’t add much other than dipping in the leftover sauce.

Pasta and Meatball Bake (Lunch Special)

Pasta and Meatball Bake. Ziti pasta baked with marinara sauce and cheese with a meatball. On the side is two pieces of bread and Caesar salad.

I really enjoyed the ziti pasta with marinara sauce. I loved it. And the meatball is the same as the appetizer, so it was delicious. I loved the lunch portion with the salad.

Spaghetti Pesto Primavera

I enjoyed the pesto sauce. The olive oil an basil were so delcous. The chicken so tender, and the artichokes were lovely.

Spaghetti Carbonara (Lunch Special)

Spaghetti. Carbonara with a side Caesar salad.

The carbonara was very creamy with a nice saltiness. I do think that this pasta with the Caesar salad was a good lunch.

Dessert

Chocolate Tartufo

A spherical chocolate ball with two scoops of vanilla ice cream and a sprig of mint on top.

The chocolate tartufo was so soft. When you open up the chocolate sphere there was warm melted truffle in the center. When you scoop it with the vanilla gelato, OH, it was so delecious! I highly recommend this dessert!

Cookie Gelato Scoop

This dessert was so sweet but it was delicious. The vanilla gelato was so good. You can taste the vanilla. The cookie was warm and so soft with the sauce and ice cream but very sweet. I highly recommend this dessert if you are into super sweet desserts.
